Description

Profile: Sargol means “flower apex” in Arabic. Our Iranian Sargol saffron is made up of the red stigmas that have been properly cut and separated from the blossom before drying.

Details:

Saffron is a spice made from the bloom of the Crocus sativus plant, which originated in the Persian Empire. Three stigmas are found on each bloom. These stigmas are dried and used in cooking and baking as a spice. Saffron gives meals a golden yellow hue thanks to a carotenoid dye. Farmers in Iran do not utilize artificial fertilizers in their crops. As a result, there are no synthetic pesticides, preservatives, food additives, or colorings in our Sargol saffron.
